981 - How do our brains work?
Your brain is like a supercomputer in your head, and it works in three main steps:
- Receiving information: Your eyes, ears, skin, and other senses send messages to your brain. It's like getting lots of emails and messages.
- Processing information: Your brain sorts through all those messages and makes sense of them. It's like having a special program that helps you understand what's happening.
- Reacting and remembering: Your brain tells your body what to do (like moving or speaking) and stores some of the information in your memory. It's like saving important files and emails for later.
The brain also has special areas that help with different things, like:
- The cerebrum helps with thinking and moving.
- The cerebellum helps with balance and coordination.
- The brainstem helps with basic things like breathing and eating.
That's a basic overview of how your brain works!
