93 - Why do different countries have different types of weather?

Different countries have different types of weather because of their locations on the Earth. Here are some reasons:

  1. Distance from the equator: Places near the equator (like Brazil or Indonesia) get more sunlight and are warmer. Places far from the equator (like Canada or Russia) get less sunlight and are colder.
  2. Mountain ranges: Mountains can block or redirect wind, rain, and sun, making the weather different on either side of the mountain. (Example: The Himalayas keep India warm and dry in the winter.)
  3. Oceans and seas: Water helps regulate temperature. Places near big oceans or seas (like the UK or Japan) tend to have milder temperatures.
  4. Latitude and wind patterns: Wind blows from high-pressure areas to low-pressure areas. In some places, wind patterns bring warm or cold air, making the weather different.

These factors combine to create different weather conditions in different countries.
