885 - How does the cycle of matter work in nature?

The cycle of matter is how nature recycles and reuses materials like water, plants, and even animals.

There are four main parts to this cycle:

  1. Decay: When living things die, they break down into tiny parts like nutrients.
  2. Consumption: These nutrients get eaten by other living things like plants or animals.
  3. Growth: The plants and animals use these nutrients to grow strong and healthy.
  4. Release: When these plants and animals die or get broken down, they release the nutrients back into the environment, starting the cycle again.

It's like a big natural recycling system that keeps our Earth healthy and full of life.
