88 - What is the difference between weather and climate?

Imagine you're on vacation for a week. The temperature, rain, or sunshine each day is the 'weather'. But if you come back to the same place for a week every year for 10 years, the overall temperature, amount of rain, and sunshine over those 10 years is the 'climate'.

So, weather is short-term (like a day or a week) and climate is long-term (like years or decades).
