86 - How do we measure the temperature?
We measure temperature using a device called a thermometer. A thermometer has a liquid inside that expands or contracts when the temperature around it changes.
Here's how it works:
- When it's hot outside, the liquid expands and rises up the thermometer.
- When it's cold outside, the liquid contracts and goes down.
- The temperature is read by looking at the numbers on the thermometer.
