Easy to transport: Petroleum products are easy to move around, so they can be used almost anywhere. 3. Makes many products: Petroleum is used to make lots of everyday things like plastics, soaps, and clothes.

Disadvantages: 1. Harms the environment: When we use petroleum, it can pollute the air, water, and soil, harming animals and plants. 2. Limited supply: There's only a certain amount of petroleum in the Earth, so we might run out of it soon. 3. Makes climate change worse: Burning petroleum releases bad gases that contribute to climate change, making the Earth warmer. 4. Can be expensive: Petroleum prices can go up and down, making it hard for people to afford.

So, petroleum is like a double-edged sword. It helps us in many ways, but it also has some serious drawbacks that we need to think about.
