620 - How does a circuit work, and what are its components?

Imagine a pathway for electricity. It's called a circuit. The circuit lets electricity flow from a power source, through different components, and back to the source.

A simple circuit has just a few main components: 1. Power Source: This is where the electricity starts. Examples are batteries or plugs. 2. Conductors: These are the pathways that electricity flows through. Examples are wires or metal strips. 3. Loads: These use the electricity to do something. Examples are light bulbs, phones, or toys.

The way it works is: - Electricity flows from the power source, - through the conductor (like a wire), - to the load (like a light bulb), - and then back to the power source.

Think of it like water flowing through a hose. The power source is like a water pump, the conductor is the hose, and the load is like a sprinkler that uses the water.
