52 - How do bees make honey?

Bees make honey from the nectar of flowers. Here's how:

  1. They fly from flower to flower collecting nectar, a sweet liquid.
  2. They store the nectar in their special honey stomach.
  3. When they get back to their beehive, they share the nectar with other bees.
  4. These bees mix the nectar with special juices and fan it with their wings.
  5. Water in the nectar evaporates, making it thicker and sweeter, turning it into honey.
  6. The bees store the honey in honeycombs in their hive and seal it with wax.

That's how bees make honey, and that's why we love eating it so much!
