5 - What causes rainbows?
A rainbow is made when sunlight passes through tiny drops of water in the air. This happens when the sun shines through the water drops at a specific angle, making the light bend and separate into different colors. This bending of light is called 'refraction.' The colors always appear in the same order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet (ROYGBIV).
