495 - What are the main goals of a modern zoo?

A modern zoo has three main goals:

  1. Animal Conservation: To help protect and save animals that are in danger of extinction.
  2. Education and Research: To teach people about animals and learn more about them so we can help protect them better.
  3. Animal Welfare: To give animals a safe and happy home, where they can live and thrive.

By doing these three things, a modern zoo helps both animals and people.
