485 - What are the major parts of a plant, and what are their functions?

There are 3 main parts of a plant:

  1. Roots: They help hold the plant in the ground and absorb water and nutrients from the soil.
  2. Stem: It connects the roots to the leaves and helps the plant grow up and support its weight.
  3. Leaves: They make food for the plant through a process called photosynthesis, using sunlight, water, and air.

Every plant needs these three main parts to survive and grow.
