In science, we use a system called the International System of Units (SI units). The basic units are:
- Meter (m) - to measure length
- Liter (L) - to measure volume
- Gram (g) - to measure weight or mass
- Kelvin (K) - to measure temperature
- Second (s) - to measure time
- Ampere (A) - to measure electricity
- Mole (mol) - to measure the amount of a substance
These units help us measure and compare things in a standard way.
