45 - Why are bees important to the environment?

Bees are very important to our environment. They help pollinate plants, which means they transfer tiny particles from one flower to another. This helps plants make seeds and fruits.

Imagine if we didn't have bees, many of our favorite foods like apples, strawberries, and avocados wouldn't be available.

Bees also keep our ecosystem balanced and healthy. They help plants grow, and these plants provide oxygen for us and food for other animals.
