368 - What role do pollinators play in ecosystems?

Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds help plants make seeds. They visit flowers to drink nectar and collect pollen, but in doing so, they also transfer pollen between flowers. This helps plants grow fruits and vegetables, which is important for humans and other animals to eat. Without pollinators, many plants wouldn't be able to make seeds, and our food supply would be affected.
