Science Common Sense
366 - What is conservation, and why is it necessary?
Conservation is like taking care of the Earth's resources (like water, air, and animals) so we can use them for a long time. It's necessary because humans are using up resources very quickly.
Imagine you have a favorite toy box. If you take out all the toys and never put any back or clean the box, it will be empty and messy soon. Conservation is like putting the toys back, cleaning the box, and making sure there's enough for you and others to play with later.
We need conservation because:
- Some animals might disappear if we don't protect their homes.
- Clean air and water are essential for humans to live healthily.
- Our planet needs trees and plants to keep the air clean and make it cooler.
By being careful and taking care of the Earth's resources, we can make sure our planet stays healthy and happy for a long time.
