357 - What are the effects of pollution on the environment?
Imagine a big cloud of yucky stuff spreading everywhere, hurting everything it touches. That's kind of what pollution does.
It affects the environment in many ways:
- Dirty Air: Makes it hard to breathe and can give you headaches or sickness.
- Water Problems: Makes rivers, lakes, and oceans dirty, harming fish and other aquatic life.
- Harm to Animals: Kills or hurts plants and animals who live in polluted areas.
- Climate Change: Makes the Earth get warmer, causing really bad weather like hurricanes and droughts.
- Soil Damage: Makes it hard for plants to grow, causing less food for humans and animals.
We need to keep our Earth clean by reducing pollution and taking care of the environment.
