A photon is a tiny particle of light. It's like a tiny bundle of energy that travels through space. Just like how you can throw a ball, photons are like tiny energy balls that move really fast.

When you turn on a light, it sends out lots of photons, and that's what we see as light. Photons are really, really small, and they help us see the world around us.
