21 - Why do we need to breathe?
We need to breathe because our body's cells need oxygen to work properly. Oxygen helps our cells turn food into energy, which we use to move, think, and live.
Imagine your body's cells as cars and oxygen as gasoline. Without gasoline, cars can't run, and without oxygen, our cells can't work. When we breathe in, we take in oxygen, and when we breathe out, we get rid of bad stuff our body doesn't need.
