1506 - Why does the energy conversion process follow the law of conservation of energy?

The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another. Imagine you have a cup of water (energy) and you can shape it into a ball, a cube, or pour it (change it into different forms). But the total amount of water (energy) remains the same.

It's the same with energy - when it changes from one form to another (like from sunlight to plant energy, then to animal energy), the total amount of energy stays the same, just its form changes.
