1464 - What are frictional force, forward force, and elastic force?
I'll explain them simply.
Frictional Force: Imagine you're trying to push a heavy box. As you push, something stops the box from moving easily. That's friction. It's a force that makes it hard for things to move because they rub against each other. You can feel friction when you try to slide a book across a table, but the book stops.
Forward Force: This is the force that helps you move something in the direction you want. When you push that heavy box, the force that you apply to it to make it move is called the forward force. It's what makes the box move forward.
Elastic Force: Think of a rubber band. When you stretch a rubber band, it tries to go back to its original shape. That's because of an elastic force. It's a force that makes things go back to the way they were when they are stretched or squeezed. When you release a stretched rubber band, the elastic force makes it snap back into its original shape.
