1430 - What is mitosis in eukaryotic cells.

Mitosis is the process of cell division in eukaryotic cells (cells with a nucleus). It's like making a copy of the cell.

Imagine you have a Lego tower with instructions (DNA). You want to make an exact copy of the tower.

Here's what happens in mitosis:

  1. Phase 1: Replication - You make a copy of the instructions (DNA).
  2. Phase 2: Condensation - You organize and pack the instructions tightly.
  3. Phase 3: Separation - You split the instructions into two exact copies.
  4. Phase 4: Division - You build a new Lego tower (cell) using one of the copies of the instructions.

This way, you get two new cells that are identical to the original cell.
