1425 - Why do different cells have different functions, shapes, and structures.
Imagine your body is like a city. Just like how different buildings in a city have different jobs, like a school for learning and a hospital for healing, different cells in your body have different jobs too.
Each cell has a special set of instructions inside it called DNA. The DNA tells the cell what job to do and what shape to be. Some cells are shaped like sticks to help them move around, while others are shaped like flat plates to help them work together.
Different cells also have different parts inside them, like tools, to help them do their jobs. For example, cells in your eyes have special tools to help you see, and cells in your skin have special tools to help keep you safe.
So, just like how a city needs different buildings to work together, your body needs different cells with different jobs, shapes, and structures to work together to keep you healthy and alive.
