1319 - What does a burning experiment with matter recognize?

A burning experiment with matter recognizes the 3 states of matter that can be seen changing as it burns:

  1. Solid (the object before it's burned)
  2. Liquid (as the object melts)
  3. Gas (the smoke that comes out as it burns)

This experiment also shows that matter can change its state but can't be created or destroyed.
