1180 - How do human activities affect the environment.
Human activities can affect the environment in many ways, some good and some bad. Here are a few examples:
- Pollution: When we use cars, factories, and other machines, they release bad things into the air, water, and soil, making it hard for plants and animals to live.
- Deforestation: When we cut down trees to build houses or cities, it can hurt animals that live in those forests and make the air we breathe worse.
- Waste: When we throw away plastic, paper, and other things, they can end up in oceans, rivers, and parks, harming animals and making the environment dirty.
- Climate Change: When we burn fossil fuels, like coal, oil, and gas, it makes the Earth get warmer, causing problems like super-strong storms and rising sea levels.
- Overfishing: When we catch too many fish, it can hurt the ocean's ecosystem and make it hard for fish to survive.
But we can all help by:
- Using less energy and water
- Planting trees and taking care of forests
- Recycling and throwing away trash properly
- Using eco-friendly things like reusable bags and water bottles
- Reducing our use of fossil fuels
Every small action we take can help make the environment a better place.
