1165 - What are the conditions necessary for a material to burn?

To burn a material, you need three things:

  1. Fuel: This is the material you want to burn, like wood or paper.
  2. Oxygen: Oxygen is needed to help the fuel burn. If there's no oxygen, the fire will die.
  3. Heat or Spark: You need something to get the fire started, like a match or a lighter. This heat or spark helps the fuel react with the oxygen and start burning.

These three things together are known as the "Fire Triangle."
