1088 - How do plants obtain the necessary nutrients for growth?
Plants obtain the necessary nutrients for growth through two main ways:
Soil: Plants absorb nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from the soil through their roots. The roots suck up water and nutrients like a straw.
Air and Sunlight: Plants also make their own food using sunlight, water, and a gas called carbon dioxide from the air. This process is called photosynthesis.
