1053 - What is the difference between weather and climate?
Imagine you're planning a birthday party outside. The 'weather' is like what's happening in the sky right now – is it sunny, raining, or cloudy? It can change from day to day or even hour to hour.
'Climate', on the other hand, is like the overall atmosphere of your hometown. Is it usually hot, cold, dry, or wet? It's what you would expect to happen in a particular area over a long time, like years or even decades.
In simple terms, weather is short-term and climate is long-term.
