1035 - What is the difference between a pure substance and a mixture?
Imagine you have two things: water and a fruit smoothie.
A pure substance is something that has the same properties everywhere, like water. It's just one type of thing, and all of it is the same.
A mixture is when you combine two or more pure substances together, like a fruit smoothie. It has water, fruit, and sugar all mixed up. Each part of the mixture can be different, and you can see or separate the different things if you want to.
