1034 - What is the difference between a prokaryotic cell and a eukaryotic cell?
Imagine you have two kinds of houses: a simple tent (prokaryotic cell) and a big house with many rooms (eukaryotic cell).
In a prokaryotic cell (like a simple tent): - It's small and doesn't have a lot of separate rooms or divisions inside. - The DNA (instructions) is just floating inside the cell.
In a eukaryotic cell (like a big house): - It's bigger and has many separate rooms or divisions inside called 'organelles' (like a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, etc.). - The DNA is stored inside a special room called the 'nucleus'.
So, eukaryotic cells are more organized and have more divisions, while prokaryotic cells are simpler and don't have separate rooms or divisions.
