100 - Why do animals have different types of reproduction?

Animals have different types of reproduction because it helps them survive and adapt to their environment.

There are two main types of reproduction:

  1. Sexual reproduction (like humans) - where a male and female combine their cells to create a new baby. This helps mix genes, making their babies stronger and more resistant to diseases.

  2. Asexual reproduction (like some insects and plants) - where one parent creates a copy of itself without mixing genes. This is faster and can help animals quickly fill up an empty space.

Some animals, like birds and reptiles, lay eggs outside their bodies (outside their belly), and others, like mammals (like humans), have babies grow inside their belly (or womb).

Different reproduction types help animals thrive in different environments and conditions.
